DomesticWhen considering purchasing a lawnmower for your garden, there are a few questions you should ask yourself. With the answers to these questions, we can recommend what equipment to choose.

Q1. What is the size of the lawn you will be mowing?

Measure the area and don't forget to take into account if there are any pathways, flowerbeds or play areas that won't need to be cut. For around these areas, you might need to purchase one of our Grass Trimmers & Brush Cutters.

Q2. Are there any slopes/hills in the lawn?

Depending on the slope/hill you have, you might need to opt for a ride-on mower instead of a pedistrian lawnmower or a hover mower for the steeper inclines. Lawnmowing shouldn't be a difficult task but with the wrong equipment, it can be big problem.

Q3. Do you want to collect the grass or mulch it?

We have many different machines available, some collect grass, some mulch it. Mulching the grass means that the lawnmower chops the grass clippings into fine particles then pushes the particles right down into the turf out of sight. If you are not sure which option is best for your needs, just ask and we will help out.

Q4. Do you need a ride-on or pedestrian/push mower?oleomacchainsaw

This is a personal choice as to whether you would prefer to use a ride-on mower rather than a push/drive lawnmower. Ride-on lawnmowers are a much better option if your area is large and you have somewhere that it can be stored.
